Falun Dafa (also known as Falun Gong) is an ancient Chinese form of Qigong, or cultivation practice of mind and body, involving exercises and meditation. The tranquil exercise movements appear similar to Tai Chi or Yoga.
The unique feature about Falun Gong is that it follows the ancient Chinese tradition of emphasising the improvement of one’s moral character as well as exercising the body. At the heart of the practice are three fundamental principles: Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance. Falun Gong practitioners strive to embody these principles in their daily lives.
